*SOLD OUT* Visiting Workshop: Bay Area Sandals with Rachel Corry

Join us for our first visiting workshop by the talented Rachel Corry!

We’ll spend a whole day learning the steps of sandal-making: you will design, fit, and assemble a pair of dream sandals for your own feet. The design possibilities are endless, as long as your idea is open-toe and open-heel. Some variables to play with include material, hardware, heel height, strap layout, sole shape, and color. And Rachel will bring many colors to choose from!

The sandals will be nearly ready-to-wear at end of day, Rachel will just ask that you bring them to a cobbler to have the edges finished (sanded). This usually costs about $20, and so she’s discounted the class by $50 to make sure you have a budget for that expense. This allows us more time to work on the design and assembly during our day together!

Saturday Sept 2nd, 10am-5:30ish (with a break for lunch at 1ish)

**Consider wearing easy on/off shoes for our day of working with our feet. It might also be a good idea to bring water, snacks, and reading glasses (if you use them they might help you see what you’re cutting!)
